Here you can discover our starting position generator.
Just click on "starting position generator" and you obtain a randomly chosen initial position; In the window below you can create the set up of the pieces which correspond to a fixed algebraic notation of an initial position or you can ask for the algebraic notation which fits a determined starting configuration of the pieces. We recommend to copy the randomly generated position from the window above or simply to put in a number between 001 and 960. Click on "show starting position on the board" and you can visualize the generated initial position on the chess board.
